ADOR's Rope Safety Booms are ideal for flood defense and navigation authorities to protect lives, vessels, and structures. They have been designed to meet a stringent set of conditions set out. The rope safety booms comprise a series of guard piles spaced up to 10m apart with floats supporting two ropes providing constant freeboard and air draft. The float's design allows up to casualties to climb into the float without ladders, and the ropes allow them to get to shore unaided.
Models:
RSB1150
Standards:
- The booms effectively stop craft with a 40T minimum breaking load.
- Floats are virtually unsinkable since their closed-cell polyurethane foam filling ensures complete buoyancy even if the outer skin is damaged in a collision.
- The quality polyethylene material used for the outer skin is highly resistant to the damaging effects of UV light and color fade over time, ideal for applications in high UV environments.
Applications:
Ideal for flood defense and navigation authorities to protect lives, vessels, and structures.
