A roof is included on the ultralight Side Dumper 2.0 to provide sealed and secure transport for all bulk materials, including sticky, dusty, and hazardous materials. It is possible to construct a wagon with either a roof designed for wheel loader loading or a sliding roof optimized for shute loading, depending on your loading technique.

Side Dumper 2.0 wagons: Ultralight for unprecedented productivity
Due to its low tare weight, we have developed the world's most productive roofed, side-tipping wagon for heavy dry bulk. There is a 20 percent weight reduction over the previous wagon, which is more delicate than most comparable ones.
Through a new and revolutionary design concept, we have removed the stabilizing underframe and hinges from the SD wagon and made the new wagon ultralight. In the new SD system, the unloading station acts as a counter hold during tipping and forms, together with the wagon's pivot, the hinge the load carrier rotates around.
Modular design for best total wagon fleet economy
Side Dumper 2.0 forms part of our patented modular logistics system, in which a standardized chassis is used with different, tailor-made load carriers. Modular construction offers significant production advantages, such as high accessibility and maintainability of individual load carriers and increased availability of the entire logistics system. The load carriers are easily exchanged depending on your current transport and maintenance needs, and a capital-intensive chassis can remain in production. In contrast, its load carrier is removed for servicing.
The load carrier can be easily transferred between rail chassis for different track gauges and from trains to road trucks and ships to facilitate efficient, flexible rail and intermodal operations.
Robust and low-cost unloading station
The SD system consists of an optimized combination of wagon and unloading solutions designed and manufactured by ADOR's partner (Kiruna Wagon). The updated SD 2.0 system has redesigned the robust and low-cost unloading station to allow for a simplified and considerably lighter wagon construction. For example, all hydraulic components are of the standard type used in wheel loaders and trucks.
Up to four unloading stations can be used simultaneously for maximum discharge capacity. This gives an unloading capacity of up to 15,200 tonnes per hour.
