Depending on the specifications of each client, ADOR Tech, with the help of its international partners, designs and manufactures train washing plants. Both space and the type of train to be washed are considered in our designs:

By utilizing walk-through systems or mobile systems, we can optimize washing quality. We can easily adapt our plants to the surfaces of every train model because of the modularity of our plants. In addition to the sides, we are able to wash the front, rear, shoulders, skirts, and roofs of vehicles.

our train wash plants include our own systems specifically designed for recycling the water used in washing, either through chemical systems, physical systems, or through a combination of both. We also include specific treatment of mains water in order to decalcify or demineralize it for use in the final stages of washing. Our system integrates the control of the washing plant and its water treatment. With the most advanced control systems on the market, we create programs that are easy to learn and can be connected to the Internet and centralized control systems (SCADA, CBTC, MMS, or similar).

1- Mobile train wash plant

If sufficient space is available, equivalent to the length of the train, mobile washing plants are the ideal solution for high-quality washing. In their design, we take into account the model of the train and its washing areas (cabins, sides, shoulders, skirts, underframe, roof), the washing programs, the water recycling system, and the degree of automation.

The train remains stationary while two self-propelled semi-gantries on each side move longitudinally. Each semi-portal is equipped with a nozzle and vertical or horizontal brushes, whose activation per route, in addition to the speed of movement of the Semi gantry, can be programmed individually.

In order to improve the washing efficiency, the direction of rotation of the brushes is opposite to the advance of the semi-gantries. In addition, recycled water is used to reduce tap water consumption by up to 80%. Rinsing can be carried out with tap water, decalcified, or demineralized. The identification of the trains to be washed can be done manually or automatically, by means of an RFID recognition system. In this way, the system loads specific washing programs according to the identified train.

2- Fixed Train wash plant

Fixed washing plants are the ideal solution for fast train availability or if the washing tray has little space. In their design, we take into account the model of the train and its areas to wash (cabins, sides, shoulders, skirts, under the frame, roof) washing programs, the water recycling system, and the degree of automation.

The train advances through the washing tray. After the first stage of spraying water and detergent, the train is washed with brushes. To improve the efficiency of the washing, the direction of rotation of the brushes is opposite to that of the train. In addition, recycled water is used to reduce tap water consumption by up to 80%. The final stages are rinsing with tap water, decalcified or demineralized. To improve the final appearance of the train, we can include wax dosage in the rinsing stages and a nozzle drying stage.

Thanks to the modular design of our plants, we can program different types of washing, for example, including or not washing of cabins, roofs, shoulders, or skirts. The identification of the trains to be washed can be done manually or automatically, by means of an RFID recognition system. In this way, the system loads specific washing programs according to the identified train. The washing can be unidirectional or bidirectional.

3- Manual washing stations or integrated into electric vehicles

Ideal for spaces where a standard washing plant is not feasible or in transitory situations. Also, manual washing stations can be integrated into electric vehicles, allowing for greater versatility.
