Track Laying Gantry
Laying the rail tracks and switching them with our totally radio-controlled track laying gantry. Rail track laying macine would be one of the most efficient and qualified machines ever used in construction and maintenance projects.
OVERVIEW
Laying and switching rail tracks is a fundamental process in railway construction and maintenance. ADOR represents the most sophisticated track-laying gantries to speed up this process and make it straightforward and safe. They are designed to be completely radio-controlled to lay, switch, and transport the tracks without interrupting the circulation on the adjacent tracks.
Our track-laying gantry is engineered with a very high load capacity and is capable of lifting, moving, and rotating the tracks quickly and safely. It can also be used simultaneously for longitudinal and lateral laying to the track and switched with a single remote control, making it super-efficient and time-saving.
We provide two rail track laying machine models: F40TR and T30. The F40TR is manufactured with an 88 KW (120 hp) diesel engine power, 9800 kg (21,605 lbs.) weight, and a higher lifting capacity. The T30 is equipped with a 47.8 KW diesel engine, 4800 kg (10,583 lbs.), and less lifting capacity. However, both of them are available in all gauges, making them more efficient and functional.

What Is Track Laying Gantry?
Railway tracks can be deteriorated by factors like weather conditions and passing trans vibrations. Laying and switching them prevents rail failures, train speed reduction, and unsafe conditions derived from the deterioration of tracks. Track laying gantry is a versatile machine that proceeds with laying and switching the track components efficiently.
They remove the old ballast, sleepers, and rails from the track and smoothly place the new sleepers in sequenced positions. Track-laying gantries are typically engineered to be able to lift and transport heavy materials and lay them in place. Therefore, the more sophisticated and powerful track-laying gantries can perform more efficiently and safely.
Primary Factors in Choosing a Track Laying Gantry
Due to the crucial role of a track-laying gantry in railway construction and maintenance projects, speed is one of the primary factors you have to consider. The sophisticated track-laying gantries typically utilize high technology to speed up the process of laying and switching tracks. They are also designed based on today’s railway infrastructure, making them safer and more reliable. On the other hand, the tracks’ components are built heavily and require significant power to lift and transport. Therefore, a track-laying gantry should be designed with a high lifting capacity to lift, move, and place the heavy materials.
Key Benefits of Using a Rail Track Laying Machine
Using a rail track laying machine offers a range of significant advantages for railway construction and maintenance, from increased safety to lower overall costs. The primary benefit is speed: a dedicated track laying gantry or track laying system accelerates the process of removing old rails, placing new sleepers, and aligning critical track components. This efficiency results in minimized disruptions to train operations and shorter project timelines.
Additionally, these machines ensure better precision than conventional, manual labor methods, the likelihood of track alignment issues or structural weaknesses. Furthermore, the advanced design of a rail track laying machine typically includes higher lifting capacities and remote-control capabilities, improving worker safety and reducing the risk of on-site accidents. Over time, this translates into cost savings for operators and construction companies, thanks to fewer required labor hours, less downtime, and a more reliable, durable railway infrastructure.
Track Laying System vs. Conventional Methods: Which Is Better?
When comparing a modern track laying system to conventional railway construction methods, the most striking differences are speed, safety, and overall efficiency. Traditional techniques often require substantial manual labor and heavy machinery that can disrupt ongoing railway services and pose higher risks for workers. On the other hand, a well-designed rail track laying machine or track laying gantry offers streamlined processes, reducing downtime and labor costs. High lifting capacities and remote-control functionalities not only expedite operations but also minimize on-site hazards, resulting in a safer environment for all personnel.
Furthermore, advanced track laying systems provide greater precision in rail alignment, significantly cutting down the need for rework or maintenance after installation. This accuracy translates into smoother train rides and fewer delays in the long run. Overall, while conventional methods may still serve smaller-scale or specialized projects, a modern track laying system delivers substantial benefits in speed, safety, and cost-effectiveness for larger railway endeavors.
