Hi-Rail Swing Loader Delivered

The City of Calgary required a reliable and flexible rail-compatible excavator capable of executing a range of maintenance tasks on track infrastructure. The machine needed to operate efficiently across all seasons and comply with rail safety and operational standards. A key challenge was to ensure the equipment could integrate essential attachments like clamshell buckets, forks, and snowplows, while also maintaining functionality on both road and rail.

To meet these needs, ADOR offered the GF22 hi-rail excavator, a multi-purpose swing loader designed and manufactured by our Italian partner, La Falco. This machine is built with dual-mode mobility features, allowing it to transition between road and track seamlessly. We included the BS250 clamshell bucket for track-related operations such as tie handling and ballast management, along with other critical features like a backup camera, heated cab, and hydraulic attachment points.

Understanding Calgary’s operational demands, we reviewed and accommodated requests for additional capabilities, such as payload monitoring and compatibility with third-party snowplows. ADOR also supported technical clarifications, ensuring our solution was aligned with performance and dimensional expectations.
